If Edina Public schools cancel or dismiss school early due to snowy weather conditions, dance classes are also canceled. Please check your texts, e-mail, website or Facebook & Instagram for studio closings.
There is no need to report an absence. Due to full classes, make-ups are not offered and tuition is not pro-rated for missed class. We have one extra day built into the tuition if needed for a weather cancellation, however, if PDC has to cancel more than one day due to weather, we will schedule a make-up option.
To drop a PDC class, you will need to fill out a DROP FORM. A drop cannot be processed until the form is submitted. We cannot accept drops via phone calls or emails.
When will my last payment be if I drop?
- You are responsible for tuition during the month you drop.
- The date on your drop form or the date of your last class will be your last month of tuition.
- For example, if you drop on October 2nd, you will pay for October's tuition installment, and are able to attend classes that month. This gives us time to fill the open spot in the class.
- There is no pro-rating of monthly installments for drops. Therefore, if you can only attend one class in the month you drop, you will still pay the full month's installment.
- The annual ($25/student) registration fee is non-refundable at anytime after enrollment.
- If you are dropping after January 1st, please note that a costume has been ordered for your dancer and there are no returns/refunds on costume fees (which are due January 15th).
- We will notify you when your costume is ready for pick-up.
